What is the Promotion about?

We know you love our product. So we’re rewarding you to share the love.

This Promotion (the “Promotion”) allows selected Revolut customers to earn a referral reward (the “Reward”). If you received a Golden Pass, you can earn a higher referral reward (the “Golden Pass Reward”). The more your invitees use Revolut services, the more likely you are to get a Golden Pass. It's easy: your friend just needs to sign up to Revolut using your unique referral code and make three qualifying purchases. You will only be paid the Reward if you, and the person you refer, meet the criteria in these terms and conditions, so please keep reading to find out how the Promotion works.

You, and the people you refer, must meet all the criteria If you or they do not, or if you or they only partially meet a criteria, you will not receive a Reward.

Who is organising this Promotion?

This Promotion is organised and offered by Revolut Payments UAB, a company located at Konstitucijos ave. 21B, 08130 Vilnius, Lithuania (“Revolut”).

Who is eligible for the Promotion?

Anyone who has received an invitation to the Promotion directly from us by email is eligible. If you have not received an email directly from us, you are not eligible.

What do you need to do to earn the Reward and the Golden Pass Reward?

To earn a Reward, invite a friend and have them sign up to Revolut, and ensure that your friend completes all activities we set out below within 90 days of receiving the invite. To earn a Golden Pass Reward, you must receive a Golden Pass email from us, invite a friend and have them sign up to Revolut within 24 hours of receiving the invite, and ensure that your friend completes all activities we set out below within 90 days of receiving the invite.

Inviting someone to join Revolut is easy. Just open the email you received about this Promotion (remember, you must have received an email from us to be eligible) and tap on the “Invite Friends” button. You can invite friends from anywhere in the world where Revolut is available.

A draft email containing your unique referral link will appear. You can customise the message and send it once you’re ready. It’s the link which is important - the invitee must click on your unique link for you to be eligible for the Promotion.

The maximum number of people you can refer is 25. If you refer more than 25 people, you will not be paid more than 25 Rewards. If you received a Golden Pass, you can refer as many friends as you like, only one of them has to sign up within 24 hours of you having received the invite, and complete the steps in 90 days from the date of invite. You will be paid one Golden Pass Reward for one Golden Pass email invite.

The amount of the Reward and Golden Pass Reward you will be paid is unique to you. We will set it out in the invite email we sent to you. It will be paid in the base currency of your Revolut account.

What does the person you refer need to do for you to earn the Reward?

For you to be eligible for your Reward, your invitee must be eligible for this Promotion and sign up to Revolut using your unique referral link, top up, and make three purchases using their Revolut card. This means that:

  • They must sign up to Revolut, for the first time, using your unique referral link. (Someone who has previously signed up will not earn you a Reward.)
  • Signing up means completing the sign up process and passing our onboarding checks. If the invitee fails our onboarding checks, you will not be eligible for your Reward. For example, they might fail these checks because they do not meet our onboarding requirements.
  • They must top up their account from an external source (like a card top-up or transfer from another bank, not a transfer from another Revolut account).
  • They must order a physical card;
  • They must make three card purchases of minimum €5 each. The three card purchases can be made using a virtual or physical card. These must be eligible purchases for goods or services (for example, card transactions to payment, gambling, gift card, currency or cryptocurrency exchange service providers, and money transfers are not valid).

You will not be paid a Reward (or may have a Reward that has been previously paid reversed) if your invitee reverses one of these steps after taking it. For example, if they immediately close their Revolut account, cancel their card before it arrives, or cancel/refund their card purchase.

What other legal information should I know?

  1. We may suspend or end the Promotion earlier than the end date we’ve mentioned above if, in our reasonable opinion, the Promotion is being abused or may negatively affect Revolut’s goodwill or reputation. We may do this on an individual or promotion-wide basis. If we exercise this right we will try to give you advance notice on our website. Please contact Support if you believe you qualify for a particular benefit in relation to the Promotion that has not been awarded to you as a result of this early suspension or termination.
  2. We can cancel this Promotion, or change these Promotion Terms at any time without notice.
  3. We reserve the right to reverse any cash reward you receive during the Promotion Period if the payment that earned the cash reward is refunded to you, you earned the cash reward fraudulently, if you breach the terms that apply to your Revolut account in order to get the cash reward, or if we become aware you were not compliant with these Promotion Terms. We will consider the reverse to be done with your consent and the payment to be authorised by you.
  4. If you close your Revolut account or your account becomes suspended or restricted before we were due to credit your account with any cash reward that you were entitled to under this Promotion, you will lose your entitlement to that electronic money
  5. Events beyond the control of Revolut may also occur that render the rewarding of cash as part of this Promotion impossible. Revolut will not be liable for any loss, whether directly or indirectly suffered, as a result of an event outside of its control.
  6. If we have reasonable grounds to believe that you have engaged in any fraud or material abuse of this Promotion (such as for example attempting to obtain an unfair advantage through deception) we may in our sole discretion take any actions we see fit in the circumstances.
  7. This Promotion is a one-sided campaign, where only the referrer (not the referee) can be awarded the Reward.
  8. The Reward will be paid to the referrer’s main account balance.
  9. Rewards will be paid within 10 working days after the end of the Promotion Period.
  10. Only users who receive an email invitation from us to participate in this Promotion are eligible for it.
  11. To be eligible for a Reward, you must comply with these terms and conditions and all other terms and conditions that apply to your account.
  12. If you sign up to Revolut as part of this Promotion, Revolut will process your personal data in compliance with our Privacy Policy.
  13. These terms are published in English and any translation is a courtesy and office translation only - participants of the Promotion cannot derive any rights from the translated version. The English language version of these terms shall apply and prevail and be conclusive and binding. The English version shall be used in any legal proceedings.
  14. For customers of Revolut Payments UAB, to the extent permitted by law, these Promotion Terms shall be exclusively governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the Republic of Lithuania. Despite this, you can still rely on the mandatory consumer protection rules of the EEA country where you live. Any disputes arising out of or in connection with these Promotion Terms shall exclusively be submitted to and dealt with by the competent court in the Republic of Lithuania (or in the courts of any EU Member State where you reside).
