After months of debate and hard work, we’re extremely proud to welcome XRP and BCH to the Revolut app, which means you can now instantly exchange any of our 25 supported fiat currencies directly into XRP and BCH.

Can I spend in Crypto with my Revolut card? 💳

You sure can. If you have not topped up your Revolut account in fiat currency but have Cryptocurrency in your wallet, you can pay for your morning coffee or metro ticket in Cryptocurrency! We'll simply deduct the fiat value from your Cryptocurrency using the real exchange rate the moment you pay with your Revolut card!

Can I transfer Crypto to other Revolut users? 🙋🏻‍♂️

You can do that too! Sending Crypto to other users is the same as sending any other fiat currency. Simply tap the Payments button, choose a friend and share the love in XRP, BCH or whatever cryptocurrency you fancy!

Can I transfer Crypto into or out of Revolut? ↖️↗️

Unfortunately, we're not able to support external transfers right now due to strict regulation. We totally appreciate that this may be a deal breaker for some people, but we are not ruling out this option for the future. Stay tuned!

Why not set up a Crypto Vault? 💰

Sometimes the hardest thing to do is to decide when to buy your crypto of choice - until now. With Vaults, you can round up spare change from your daily transactions, convert it into crypto and atuomatically place it inside your Vault for safe keeping.

If you don't already know how to do that, here's a simple explanation of Crypto Vaults. What's more, if you're holding cryptocurrencies inside the app but don't want to accidentally spend it if your fiat balance goes low, you can move it into a vault where it will never get spent no matter what.

What if I don't have access to Revolut Crypto? 🤷🏻‍♀️

That's just as easy - you can get instant access to crypto by doing any of the following:

• Get 3 friends to sign up to Revolut using the invite link in the Cryptocurrency section;
• Upgrade your account to Revolut Premium and enjoy all of the included benefits;
• Go to More and tap Cryptocurrencies - you will be placed in a queue while your feature gets unlocked (this usually takes around 2 weeks).

Are there any fees? 🤔

Nope! Both XRP and BCH rates work exactly the same as those for Bitcoin, Litecoin and Ether.

A transparent 1.5% markup is added to any transaction using cryptocurrencies and the best part is that you don't even have to worry about working out the rates; everything is already added to the prices you see inside the app - no faff, no drama. 😌
