MyInfo enables record breaking nine clicks to open a Revolut Singapore account

Since our humble beginnings, designing an unbeatable customer experience has been our number one priority. And if you look at recent analysis from the likes of Built for Mars and CFTE, it’s clear that this is also the goal for many other financial services companies, too.  

It is rare to see the same intensive innovation from a national government. We are talking of course about Singapore, where the GovTech arm has built a national KYC utility for all. Known as MyInfo, the utility allows financial institutions like Revolut to onboard and approve new customers in a fraction of the time, and with less effort than ever.

Now, Revolut was already in second place in Singapore for the number of clicks required to open an account, but since integrating MyInfo into our app, we have been able to reduce the number of clicks from 24 to 9, which is record breaking for Singapore, and we think, globally (do let us know if we’re wrong)!

It is by standing upon the shoulders of those who came before us, that Revolut can reach further into the creative and innovative future of financial services. For this we applaud Singapore as the standout nation leading the way for us all.
