While we’re all stuck inside and distant from many of our loved ones, now more than ever is the time to come together and help those in need. Today we launched Revolut Donations in the U.S. to help you do just that.

Given the COVID-19 pandemic, our first partner in the U.S. is Feeding America, the nation’s largest domestic hunger-relief organization. Feeding America operates a network of 200 food banks across the country in need of our help today. With Revolut you can give a little or a lot with ease, however you see fit, and one-hundred percent of your donation — not seventy-five or ninety — will go to charity. Here’s how you can help today.

Automatically round up any Revolut payment transaction to the nearest dollar and donate the difference to charity. For example, if you spend $3.45 on coffee, we’ll automatically round it up to $4.00 and send 55¢ to your selected charity. It’s that easy, and you can turn it on or off with a few taps.

Set up a recurring donation

Give on a regular basis that works for you. Set up daily, weekly or monthly donations for whatever amount you like and we’ll take care of all the lifting from there. The donation will come directly from your Revolut account and you can cancel anytime.

Make a one-off donation

Interested in giving a one-time donation? No problem — we’ve got you covered — and we won’t chase you down for your next donation, either.

Rest assured, one-hundred percent of your donations go to the designated charity, without charging you or the charity any fees. Because doing good shouldn’t come at a profit.

How to donate with Revolut today

Getting started is super easy. Just make sure that you’re on the latest version of the Revolut app and then follow these steps:

  • Tap on the ‘Dashboard’ tab
  • Select ‘Donations’ followed by ‘Feeding America’
  • Finally, select your choice of either spare change round-ups, one-time or recurring donations

Together we’ll get through these difficult times. Feeding America is the first of many charities we are excited to partner with in the U.S. But stay tuned, we’ll be announcing additional partnerships in the near future.
