We would like to introduce you to Revolut’s Intelligent Troubleshooting Assistant, otherwise known as Rita!

So, who’s Rita?

We’re bringing financial services into the 21st century, building a product which goes beyond banking to offer a mobile-first, seamless experience with greater transparency around where your money is going.

Asking for information about your finances should be as easy as sending a text. And, the reply should be instant. That’s why we’re excited to introduce you to the latest member of our support team - Rita. The name stands for Revolut’s Intelligent Troubleshooting Assistant and she’s a Chatbot that resides in the Support tab of our app.

Rita can instantly help you with any questions you have about our product. Want to know if you can use your card in Korea? Or how long it will take for your transfer to arrive at it’s destination? Just ask Rita. She’ll even tell you the live market exchange rate 😉.

When asking Rita for the exchange rate, please use this format: “What’s the exchange rate for GBP/THB?”

How does Rita Work?

Rita is powered by artificial intelligence - meaning she can recognise normal human language and will get smarter as she learns from conversations with our customers overtime.

Rita can provide our customers with instant answers for simple queries which enables our support agents to focus on complex issues - improving the experience for everyone. The results so far have been fantastic. During our beta launch, Rita has successfully been resolving over 20% of our support queries.

What’s next?

As Rita gets smarter, we will expand her capabilities to provide a more personalised experience. For instance, if your transaction is declined because you don’t have enough funds in your account, Rita will be able to tell you. We also want Rita to be able to help you keep track of your finances. If you’re speeding through the monthly spending limit you set for your card, she might send you an update on your remaining budget for the month.

So, go and have a chat with Rita and please do provide feedback on your experience via the Support tab in our app. We hope you love Rita as much as we do; she’s only going to get better and better!
