You may have already heard the news that Revolut has recently secured licences for operating in Singapore and Japan, but what you might not know is just how much work we do behind the scenes to make all this possible.

From the guys on the ground in the International Expansion team, to our in-house lawyers and the jedis of Operations, securing these licences is truly a team effort. And when everyone brings their A-game, we act fast and get **it done like nobody else - we never stop and we never settle.

But as we keep on growing, so do the responsibilities of each team - and while this approach has been working fine for now, we're ready to shift gears and supercharge our well-oiled licensing machine, by building a dedicated in-house Global Licensing Team - and this is where all of you come in.

What we need πŸš€

We're building a single, global team at Revolut that delivers fast, effective and efficient licensing in all current markets, as well as new ones we're expanding to including the US, Canada, India, Japan, Australia, Singapore, Hong Kong.

From liaison with the decision makers, partners and regulators, through to the execution of specific deliverables required to obtain each licence, the Global Licensing Machine will deliver the end to end licensing process covering our entire product range, including E-Money, Credit, Trading, Acquiring and so on.

Roles we're hiring for πŸ‘ŠπŸ»

At Revolut, we like to keep things simple and give people the autonomy they need to work fast and efficient to achieve their goals - complex corporate structures are largely inefficient and simply don't work for us. The Global Licensing Team will look something like this:

βœ… Global Head of Licence Operations

Reporting directly to our CEO, the Global Head of Licence Operations will be responsible for delivering all licences based on the business' needs.

This person will manage a team responsible for planning, executing and securing licences for our entire product range, across all existing and new markets.

This role will be based in London, and will involve securing multiple e-money and banking licences across the globe, as well as credit, trading, acquiring licences in several countries.

βœ… Capital, Liquidity and Financial Modelling Manager

Working closely with the Head of Licence Operations, as well as with the Core team, Treasury and the Finance departments, this person will have expert capability to meet all modelling requirements for securing these licences.

This basically means being comfortable with things like creating internal capital adequacy assessments (ICAAP), internal liquidity adequacy assessments (ILAAP), and other financial modelling techniques.

βœ… Licence Business Planning Manager

When we were starting out, we didn't really know how much work goes into preparing all the operational and legal documentation that goes into a licence application - yet we've managed to launch a fleet of financial services across 32 markets in Europe.

We're now taking things to the next level and are hiring a manager who will report to the Global Head of Licence Operations. This person will be responsible for writing and syndicating all written documentation for licensing applications in the UK, Europe and beyond.

βœ… Licence Project Managers

Last but not least, we're looking to hire a team of Licence Project Managers, reporting to the Global Head of Licence Operations, who will monitor and escalate the day to day to progress for the delivery of our licences.

This is a great role for highly driven and passionate individuals who want to quickly go up the ranks, as the role offers the potential to progress into more senior positions within the team based on how well you perform.
