We’re very excited to release version 2.6 of the Revolut app on iOS and Android which you can download now in the App Store or Google Play Store.

This update includes a massive overhaul of our transactions in terms of design and functionality. Version 2.1 exposes more information about your transactions and includes a much requested feature - adding receipts!

Add receipts or notes to your transactions:

Hands up those of you who ask for receipts, then store them carefully in a ball in your pocket never to be seen again? Yep, us too.

Now you can just tap your transaction in the ‘Account’ section of the app and attach a photo of your receipt. This is a pretty nifty feature, particularly when travelling with friends, to keep track of who paid what, when and how. If you don’t have a receipt you can a just add a note instead.

Map your transactions:

Looking at your statement wondering where on earth you spent £42 in the early hours of Saturday morning? We can help! If we have the data, we’ll add a pin point on a map telling you where your transaction took place.

What’s next?

Our developers are working hard to add even more information to your transactions. The plan is to provide the name, location, logo and category (for example food, TFL, Uber) for every purchase you make. We’re already half way there; here’s what’s coming to an app near you:

We’re also working on some other awesome new features to be released in the next few months. Keep an eye out for spoilers on our Facebook, Twitter and Instagram pages.

Stay tuned! 😉
