Revolut teams up with Anthony Joshua

Here at Revolut, we've teamed up with world heavyweight boxing champion, Anthony Joshua, to support local independent boxing gyms in the UK. With the launch of our limited edition glow-in-the-dark debit card, we're coming together to help those who need it most.

We'll donate £1 for every card ordered, with a minimum £50,000 commitment, to struggling independent gyms that are members of England Boxing or Boxing Scotland.

Helping UK boxing gyms fight back

This past year has been hard on all of us, and small businesses in particular have taken a hit. Since March 2020, more than 400 independent facilities, including local gyms, have been forced to close their doors, and 2,400 more facilities are at risk. These businesses play a key role in local communities, for everything from employment to health and well-being.

Anthony Joshua said: “I am delighted to partner with Revolut to support boxing gyms. Without my local gym I would not be where I am today. There are kids and adults alike using these gyms to improve their physical and mental health, and keep themselves off the streets. I am really pleased my Revolut card will make a real difference.”

How to get your gloves on one

Our new Anthony Joshua card designs are available to Revolut customers in the app now (fees apply).

1. Head over to the Cards tab. Tap ‘+ add card’
2. Tap ‘Debit card’
3. Go to ‘Material’ and tap ‘Plastic’, then find the brand new AJ design under ‘Colour’
