Introducing spending analytics!

We’re excited to release our new spending analytics feature, which instantly shows you exactly how much you’re spending, on what, and where!

Sticking to a budget is rarely straightforward, and traditional banks don’t offer much to make it any easier. They provide monotonous lists of your transactions; take days to update your account balance; and rarely provide tools to analyse your spending.

The days of digging through your bank statements are over. Our new feature automatically organises your purchases to show a breakdown of your spending by merchant, country and category. You’ll be able to see how much you’re spending on bills, eating out or Uber down to the percent! 😱

Here’s how it works:

Drag upwards on your transactions list and tap on the spending analytics icon in the top-right corner. Here you can find all of your spending with Revolut sorted by category, merchant or county. Tap on each category to see a breakdown of your transactions by merchant, for example which restaurants you’re spending the most at.

Spending by month

Swipe right on your ‘All Time’ amount spent to see a breakdown of your spending by month. This is a handy tool for budgeting, as it allows you to check if you’re sticking to your spending goals month-on-month.

For example, you could set yourself a target to reduce your spending at Pret by 10% in December. Or, stick to your Christmas budget by monitoring how much you’re spending on shopping.

Spending by currency

Swipe left on your current balance at the very top of the page to reveal a breakdown of your spending by each currency wallet.
